Getting Organized

Before

Teaching can be stressful, and having a messy room seems make it a million times more stressful. Before the students came back to school this year, I did some major organizing. I got rid of a lot of old things in my cabinets that the previous teacher had left. It was really hard when my room kept getting messier  from pulling out stuff from the depths of my storage space. However, when I finally got rid of it, it felt great! Also, I used a bunch of old storage tubs from a teacher who just retired (thanks Neal!). Then I labeled the tubs and stored seasonal items and various supplies in them when I was finished my room felt so much better. Now lets see how long I can keep it clean...

Greetings from Hawaii!

We have had a great summer! The highlight has definitely been a family trip to the island of Kauai. Beaches, pools, shaved ice, and beautiful sights everywhere. Next week we go back to school, but we are so grateful for these wonderful summer memories.
